OREGON CITY, Ore.– On Friday, November 3rd, at 12:00 p.m. the Oregon City Police Department will be having a public ceremony to remember Reserve Officer Robert Libke and honor the ultimate sacrifice he made in the line of duty ten years ago. The ceremony will be occurring at the police department.
Ofc. Libke was shot after he and other OCPD officers responded to a house fire near Linn Ave and Eastfield Dr. After being rushed to the hospital, Ofc. Libke died the following day.
The members of the Oregon City Police Department are forever grateful to our community, state, and nation for their support after this tragedy.
We miss you, Rob! Gone, but never forgotten.
