ALBANY, Ore.– The Albany Police Department is grateful to a kind talented woman and her friends.
Velma Ropp and her quilting friends went above and beyond once again. It has been sooo cold out! Velma delivered handmade quilts for officers to hand out to kids like a warm hug when they are in a tough situation. Thank you to Velma and her sewing circle group that makes our community so amazing.
