A Small Plane Crashes Into Homes In Fairview: Update

FAIRVIEW, Ore.–The three people reported missing earlier are dead.  Two of them were aboard the plane, the other was on the ground.   The National Transportation Safety Board  which is investing the crash says it could be December before it knows the cause of the crash.

FAIRVIEW, Ore.–  At least 2 townhomes  are on fire in a neighborhood West of the Troutdale airport.  A twin engine Cessna421C crashed around 10:20 this morning.  Gresham Fire says three people are missing.  The plane hit a power pole and lines  on the way down.  That caused a brush fire.

Two individuals in the plane  and one other person are missing.  As many as six families are displaced.  The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating.
