PORTLAND, Ore.– Multnomah County District Attorney Mike Schmidt’s Office says no charges have been filed against anyone in connection to the four deaths, but at least one person has been identified as a person of interest who is linked to all four of the dead women. The D.A.’s office has not released that person’s name or said if they are in custody. According to the D.A’s office there’s no threat to the public.
“Based on the available information to investigators, there is not believed to be any active danger to the community at this time,” Previously Portland Police said the murders were not connected to each other.
The women’s remains were all found within 100 miles of each other in and around Portland. Most were found in secluded more wooded areas.
