PORTLAND,Ore.– Saturday September 2nd is a big day for S.E. Portland Neighbors served by Portland Fire Station #23. IAFF Local 43 the union representing Portland Fire Fighters has put together a community celebration. A $2.1 million FEMA grant makes the fire station on S.E. 13th place fully operational once again. The union worked hard to get the grant written. Station #23 if fully staffed once again. Celebration details below:
